SUMMARY:2024 Otter Creek Instructional Outing
DESCRIPTION:Date/Time:  Saturday November 2nd\, 2024 – 9:00 am – 1:00 pm \nLocation: Garnettsville Picnic Grounds Otter Creek Recreational Area (First right after entrance) Google Map Link \nNew to fly fishing and want some “ALMOST FREE” one-on-one instruction? Been fly fishing for some time but want to up your game — maybe advanced casting techniques\, get a primer on Euro Nymph fishing? This instructional outing is just for you. You do not need to be a club member to participate\, so bring a friend! \nThere is a $3 per person daily entry fee that must be purchased online prior to arrival and kept on your person while you are in OCRA.  You can purchase a single day permit or an annual permit for $30. Either can be purchase at Otter Creek Permit. (Note: You have to proceed as if you are buying a license. When you get to the Licenses and Permits page\, scroll to the Otter Creek permit section and select the Day Pass or annual pass as appropriate.) \nIf you want to fish you will need a valid Kentucky fishing license but not a trout stamp. You’ll also want to bring your waders if you have them–bank fishing is limited. \nWe will be serving a free lunch at 1 pm (hot dogs\, chips and drinks).
