SUMMARY:Fly Tying - Cabela's
DESCRIPTION:Our Fly-Tying Classes are open to everyone – you do not have to be a member to attend.  Generally\, we tie one fly\, but we tie it twice.  An instructor demonstrates\, step-by-step\, how to tie the fly with accompanying video on a big screen TV so students can see each step. \nTools and materials are provided at no cost\, but if you have your own tools feel free to bring them. \nBeginners are welcome.  There will be experienced tiers available to provide individual help. \nDavid Campbell will be leading our August fly tying. Attached is a hopper pattern called “Mop Hopper”. There is some material preparation which may be time consuming. Therefore we may only have time to tie one. \nAnd if you have it\, please bring your own Super Glue! \nMaterials:\nSize 6 or 8 dry fly hook\n6/0 or 140 Denier fluorescent green\, chartreuse\, or brown thread.\nChartreuse mop\n2mm green foam\nBrown round rubber\nGreen round rubber\nPolypropylene yarn\nFoam disc\nSuperglue or zap-a-gap\nBlack sharpie
