DESCRIPTION:Associated with the 2020 Greater Cincinnati Fly Fishing Show (Saturday\, Feb. 1\, 2020)\, Buckeye United Fly Fishers are offering a total of four 2-hour Fly Tying Workshops on Thursday\, Jan. 30\, and Friday\, Jan. 31.  On Thursday\, Mike Schmidt\, owner of Angler’s Choice Flies\, will be leading two workshops (2 – 4 PM & 4:30 – 6:30 PM)\, tying a mixture of his signature flies and new patterns.  On Friday\, Gary Borger\, the feature presenter for the Fly Show\, will be leading 2 tying workshops (1:30 – 3:30 pm\, and 4 – 6 pm).  Each workshop will have a maximum capacity of 24 tiers and will be held in Room Sandalwood “C” at the Oasis Conference Center (site of the Fly Show). \n  \nThese workshops are open to members of all regional Fly Fishing Clubs.  Details of the workshops as well as on-line registration and payment can be found at: \n http://buckeyeflyfishers.com/expo2020/clinhome.asp

DESCRIPTION:Looking for something to do on that infrequent Fifth Wednesday of the Month?  Then join us for an evening of bowling and fellowship.   We have reserved three lanes at Ken Bowl Lanes from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.\nWe’re limited to 12 bowlers\, so sign up soon to reserve your spot.   If you just want to watch\, cheer\, heckle\, eat and drink a little and enjoy some fellowship come on out anyhow!! No Cowbells please!!\nFood and drink available at the Ken Bowl snack bar.  Afterwards\, we’ll head down the street to Rubbies for some apres Bowling nourishment and libations. \nCost: $8.50 to bowl two games\, plus $4 shoes rental —  payable upon arrival.  Free for spectators. \nIf you want to bowl (and who doesn’t?) DESCRIPTION:The December Club Meeting is a DCFF  Christmas Party at Endris Lodge at Lapping Park in Clarksville\, Indiana.  This is a very nice social event and enjoyed by all. \n \nThe club provides non-alcoholic drinks\, plates\, cups\, plasticware and napkins.  Club members bring a dish to share.  Alcoholic beverages are allowed at Endris Lodge\, so BYO if so inclined.  Spouses or significant others are encouraged to attend.
