DESCRIPTION:You don’t want to miss this one!  Our meeting is hosted by Southern Hills subdivision in Borden\, Indiana where a number of club members live.  The venue includes a private fishing lake where an Indiana fishing license is NOT required.  Around 100 members and guests will be at this meeting. \nWe’ll have a pulled pork dinner catered from Frank’s Deli for $5 per person.  The club will provide non-alcoholic drinks.  If you wish to enjoy an adult beverage it is BYO\, please be responsible. \nAs usual\, we will be offering casting instruction and any other help you may need with fly fishing.  We’ll have the Club’s rods and reels available for casting instruction and practice.

SUMMARY:Spring Otter Creek Instructional Outing
DESCRIPTION:New to fly fishing and want some “ALMOST FREE” one-on-one instruction?  Been fly fishing for some time but want to up your game?  This instructional outing is just for you.  You do not need to be a club member to participate\, so bring a friend!  You will be charged the normal Otter Creek Entry fee of $3 at the gate. \nWe customize the instruction to fit your needs\, you just tell us what you want!  We can give beginner casting instruction with the club fly rods.  We can talk about knots\, gear\, and flies.  We can show you how to fly fish on the water (bring your waders for best results)\, both with and without an indicator.  We can show you more advanced casting techniques including: \n\ndouble hauling\nroll casting\nsingle handed spey\ntwo handed spey\n\nRegistration is not required.
