SUMMARY:Fall Otter Creek Instructional Outing
DESCRIPTION:New to fly fishing and want some “ALMOST FREE” one-on-one instruction?  Been fly fishing for some time but want to up your game?  This instructional outing is just for you and anyone else that shows up.  You do not need to be a club member to participate.  You will be charged the normal Otter Creek Entry fee of $3 at the gate. \nWe customize the instruction to fit your needs\, you just tell us what you want!  We can give beginner casting instruction with the club fly rods.  We can talk about knots\, gear\, and flies.  We can show you how to fly fish on the water (bring your waders for best results)\, both with and without an indicator.  We can show you more advanced casting techniques including: \n\ndouble hauling\nroll casting\nsingle handed spey\ntwo handed spey\n\nRegistration is not required but you might want to call the Otter Creek fishing hotline at 502-942-5052 to get stream conditions if you want to fish.  You need a valid Kentucky fishing license but not a trout stamp.  We will be serving a simple lunch at 1pm (Hotdogs\, chips and drinks). \nIf you have any questions regarding regarding the outing itself\, contact the co-ordinator Wes Krupiczewicz at 502-938-2662 or wes@derbycityflyfishers.com
