Fly Tying Seminars at Cincinnati Fly Show

Associated with the 2020 Greater Cincinnati Fly Fishing Show (Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020), Buckeye United Fly Fishers are offering a total of four 2-hour Fly Tying Workshops on Thursday, Jan. 30, and Friday, Jan. 31.  On Thursday, Mike Schmidt, owner of Angler’s Choice Flies, will be leading two workshops (2 – 4 PM & 4:30 – 6:30 PM), tying a mixture of his signature flies and new patterns.  On Friday, Gary Borger, the feature presenter for the Fly Show, will be leading 2 tying workshops (1:30 – 3:30 pm, and 4 – 6 pm).  Each workshop will have a maximum capacity of 24 tiers and will be held in Room Sandalwood “C” at the Oasis Conference Center (site of the Fly Show).
