“Fly Fishing Kentucky”, a book

Tom Schrodt and Valerie Askren have published a really nice book in 2014 titled “Fly Fishing Kentucky”.  For the beginner, there is very good information on tackle and techniques.  For the experienced angler looking for some new waters to fish, it is an excellant source of information.  36 streams are discussed; Tom and Valerie fished them all.  Streams are accurately described.   Driving directions, parking availability and parking locations are “spot on”.  Everything you need for a day on new water!

The book was available locally in Louisville in 2015 at Carmichaels Book Store.  A google search for “Fly Fishing Kentucky Book” will provide internet sources for this book.
