Fly Tying – Bass Pro

Our Fly Tying Classes are open to everyone – you do not have to be a member to attend.  Generally we tie one fly, but we tie it twice.  An instructor demonstrates, step-by-step, how to tie the fly with accompanying video on a big screen TV so students can see each step.

Tools and materials are provided at no cost, but if you have your own tools feel free to bring them.

Beginners are welcome.  There will be experienced tiers available to provide individual help.

This month we will be tying the “McGinty Fly”, also known as the McGinty Bee. It is a wet fly with a lot of history and a unique part of Derby City. We hope to see you there.
