Fly Tying – Bass Pro

August 27 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Our Fly-Tying Classes are open to everyone – you do not have to be a member to attend.  Generally, we tie one fly, but we tie it twice.  An instructor demonstrates, step-by-step, how to tie the fly with accompanying video on a big screen TV so students can see each step.

Tools and materials are provided at no cost, but if you have your own tools feel free to bring them.

Beginners are welcome.  There will be experienced tiers available to provide individual help.

David Campbell will be leading our August fly tying. Attached is a hopper pattern called “Mop Hopper”. There is some material preparation which may be time consuming. Therefore we may only have time to tie one.

And if you have it, please bring your own Super Glue!
